Having the chance to give back to our military veterans is a privilege.
Our mission is to provide Disabled Veterans with (no-cost) fishing, hunting, and outdoor experiences.
Our organization was started by, and is managed by Disabled Veterans. Our goal is to help connect Disabled Veterans through outdoor adventures. Try to picture the look on a veterans face when they land that big fish.
For a moment, their disabilities are forgotten and replaced by the joy of being outdoors with fellow veterans.
Some of these men and women have never experienced being on a fishing boat, or a calm peaceful lake with a fishing rod in their hands. We always provide a group meal after each event.
We do not provide direct therapy or counseling. Although, attending our events is inherently therapeutic. We fish, we hunt, we eat... and if the Veterans feel like talking about their experiences, good or bad, we listen... Veterans that are engaged in outdoor events with other Veterans tend to create bonds and personal support groups. We don’t talk politics or religion, but we do talk about work, family, and life….. Sometimes, the only one a Disabled Veteran will open up to are other Disabled Veterans with similar experiences.
We are always looking for land owners, hunting clubs, sponsors and volunteers to help with our events.
